Data & Image Privacy

When you share your details and photos for a hair analysis, you're sharing personal data — and photos of your scalp count as sensitive information. We collect only what's needed for your assessment, use it solely for that purpose, store it securely, and never publish your images without your explicit, separate consent. This page summarises how your data and images are handled; the full detail sits in our privacy policy. Contact and retention specifics are confirmed below.

What we collect and why

To give you a useful assessment we collect the details you provide — such as your name, contact details and the photos you choose to send — and use them only to assess your case and respond to you. We aim to collect the minimum needed. We do not sell your data, and we don't use your photos for marketing unless you have given separate, explicit consent.

How your images are handled

Photos are uploaded over a secure connection and stored with access limited to those handling your assessment. They are retained only for the period set out in our privacy policy and then deleted or anonymised. Your before-and-after or case images are never published, shared or used in any promotion without a separate, explicit and dated consent that you can withdraw.

About

What we never do with your data

Some commitments are easier to understand as a short list of things we don't do. We don't sell or rent your personal data. We don't use your photos in marketing, on the website or in any public case unless you've given separate, explicit and dated consent for that specific use. We don't pass your details to third parties beyond what's needed to deliver your assessment and care. And we don't keep your data indefinitely — it's retained only for as long as needed and then deleted or anonymised in line with our policy.

FAQ

Common questions

What happens to the photos I upload?
They are uploaded securely, used only for your assessment, accessible only to those handling it, retained for a defined period and then deleted or anonymised. They are never published without your separate, explicit consent.
Will my photos ever be published or used in marketing?
Not without your separate, explicit and dated consent for that specific use. By default your photos are used only for your assessment. If you ever agree to a before-and-after or case being shown, that consent is recorded and you can withdraw it, after which we remove the material from our control as far as reasonably possible.
How do I request deletion of my data?
Contact us using the data-queries address on this page and ask for your data to be deleted. Depending on your location you may also have rights to access or correct it, or to withdraw consent. We'll respond in line with applicable data-protection law; see our full privacy policy for the complete process.
Do you comply with GDPR?
We handle personal and health data in line with applicable data-protection law, including GDPR / UK GDPR where relevant. You can exercise your data rights or ask questions via the contact listed on this page. See our full privacy policy for detail.
How long do you keep my data?
Only as long as needed for your assessment and care, after which it's deleted or anonymised in line with our policy (retention period listed on this page). If you'd like your data removed sooner, you can ask us using the contact provided, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain certain records.
