How to find the right treatment

Choose by method or by area. If you already know you want a particular technique, start with Techniques — FUE, DHI, Sapphire FUE and unshaven procedures differ in how grafts are extracted and placed. If instead you know the part you want to treat — your hairline, crown, beard, eyebrows or moustache — start with By area, and we will match the method to your hair, goals and donor supply.

Surgery isn't always the first step. Where hair is thinning rather than lost, non-surgical support such as PRP or mesotherapy can help you care for the hair you still have. In many cases the honest answer after a consultation is a combination — or simply monitoring for now. Below you can compare techniques, see how our fixed packages work, and open guides that explain graft counts and recovery in plain English.

Non-surgical support

Hair-loss support without surgery

For thinning rather than lost hair, or to support a transplant, these treatments help you care for the hair you still have. They are maintenance, not a one-off cure.

Cost

What drives the cost

Natural Hair Turkey charges one of three package prices, the same for every technique and for up to 5,000 grafts. Elsewhere, quotes can move with the graft count and the technique — and the cheapest quote is not always the safest.

Number of grafts

It shapes the plan — a hairline touch-up needs far fewer grafts than full crown coverage — but up to 5,000 it does not change our package price. Elsewhere, a quote built on an unrealistically low graft count is a red flag.

Technique

FUE, DHI and Sapphire FUE share the same package prices, so the right technique depends on your case, not on which name sounds most premium.

Who does what

Who assesses you, who designs the hairline and who extracts and implants the grafts all shape the result. Ask the clinic to name each person and their role before you book.

What's included

Compare quotes on the same basis: consultation, procedure, medication, aftercare kit, hotel and transfers may or may not be bundled. A low headline price can exclude a lot.

Every package includes

Hair transplant packages have fixed prices, whatever the technique. Non-surgical support is priced separately as part of a maintenance course.

Decide

Which is right for you?

Choose FUE / Sapphire FUE if…

You want proven, widely available surgical restoration for a receding hairline or crown, with no linear scar and a natural result over 9–12 months.

Choose DHI if…

Your priority is dense packing and precise hairline design, and you're comfortable with a longer placement time.

Choose PRP or mesotherapy if…

You're in the early stages of thinning and want to support the hair you still have — these are maintenance treatments, not a replacement for a transplant.

FAQ

Hair transplant in Turkey — your questions answered

How much does a hair transplant cost in Turkey?
Our three packages cost between €1,600 and €2,100 (approx. $1,850–$2,400), depending only on what each includes — hotel nights and fibroblast therapy. The technique (FUE, DHI or Sapphire FUE) and the graft count up to 5,000 do not change the price; the graft count you need is confirmed at assessment.
How does a hair transplant work?
Healthy follicles are taken from a donor area (usually the back of the head, where hair is genetically resistant to balding) and implanted into thinning or bald areas. The relocated follicles keep their original characteristics, so they continue to grow in their new position.
How long do hair transplant results last?
Transplanted hair is designed to last a lifetime. Final results are usually visible 9–12 months after the procedure, once the new hairs have fully grown through.
What is Sapphire FUE?
Sapphire FUE is standard FUE using blades made of sapphire rather than steel to open the recipient channels. The finer, smoother channels can support dense placement and may aid healing — but the skill and experience of the team matter far more than the blade material.
Is a hair transplant painful?
The procedure is done under local anaesthetic, so you should feel little to no pain during it. Mild soreness, swelling and tightness in the days afterward are normal and usually managed with simple painkillers.
What is recovery like and when can I go back to work?
Most people return to non-physical work within 2–3 days. Scabs form and fall away over 1–2 weeks, and you'll be given aftercare instructions on washing, sleeping position and avoiding sun and strenuous exercise for a few weeks.
Will there be visible scarring?
FUE and DHI leave tiny dot scars across the donor area rather than a linear scar, and these are generally not visible once hair grows back to a short length. Poor technique or over-harvesting can still thin the donor area, which is why clinic choice matters.
Is it safe to get a hair transplant in Turkey?
It can be, at a licensed clinic with a qualified medical team — Türkiye performs a large share of the world's hair transplants. Risk comes from unregulated 'graft mills' where technicians work with little oversight, so vetting the clinic is essential.
Who carries out the procedure?
It differs between clinics: in some, trained technicians do much of the hands-on work; in others, the roles are split differently. Ask in advance who plans your hairline, who extracts and who implants the grafts, and how the work is supervised.
Will I need more than one session?
Many people achieve their goal in a single session. A second session may be planned for very large areas, to increase density later, or to address ongoing thinning of the original hair over the years.
Why are hair transplants in Turkey so much cheaper than in the US or UK?
Lower staff, facility and living costs, plus a very high volume of procedures, let Türkiye clinics charge less for the same surgery. Price alone says nothing about quality, though — the range within Türkiye is wide, so compare who carries out each step and what's included, not just the headline figure.
Are hair transplants permanent?
The transplanted follicles are permanent because they come from areas not prone to balding. However, a transplant does not stop your existing non-transplanted hair from thinning over time, which is why planning for the future matters.
What's the difference between FUE and DHI?
Both extract follicles the same way. With FUE, channels are opened and grafts placed into them; with DHI, a Choi implanter pen opens the site and places the graft in one step, allowing denser packing and precise angle control. Both are covered by the same package prices.
How many grafts will I need?
It depends on the size of the area and your goals — a hairline restoration might need 1,500–2,500 grafts, while broader coverage can need 3,000–4,000 or more. A proper assessment of your donor area and thinning pattern is the only way to know.
How long does the procedure take?
A typical session runs about 6–8 hours depending on the number of grafts, usually completed in a single day. Larger cases are sometimes split across two consecutive days.
When will the transplanted hair start to grow?
The transplanted hairs typically shed within the first few weeks — this is normal 'shock loss'. New growth usually begins around month 4, thickens through 6–9 months, and reaches its final result at about 9–12 months.
Am I a good candidate for a hair transplant?
Good candidates have stable hair loss and a healthy donor area with enough follicles to redistribute. Very early or rapidly progressing loss, or a thin donor area, may make a transplant premature or unsuitable — an honest clinic will tell you if you should wait.
How do I choose a reputable clinic in Turkey?
Look for a licensed clinic and a named, qualified medical team; ask who carries out the extraction and implantation; review consistent, unedited before-and-after photos; and be wary of pressure tactics or prices that seem too good to be true. Get the plan and inclusions in writing.
Can women have hair transplants?
Yes. Women with pattern thinning, a stable donor area, or hair loss from traction or scarring can be candidates. Assessment is especially important, as female hair loss often has causes that should be treated medically first.
What's usually included in a Turkey hair transplant package?
Packages often bundle the consultation, procedure, medication, an aftercare kit, hotel nights and airport transfers — but not always. Always confirm exactly what is and isn't included, and what happens if you need a touch-up, before you commit.
