Our Medical Review Process

Pages on this site are written by the Natural Hair Turkey Editorial Team. When a doctor has medically reviewed a page, the page names the reviewer and the date of the review; a page without that information has not been medically reviewed yet. Reviews are under way, starting with the topics where accuracy matters most.

How to tell whether a page has been reviewed

Look just under the page title. A reviewed page shows "Medically reviewed by" with the reviewer's name and the date of the review. If you see only "Written by Natural Hair Turkey Editorial Team" and a "Last updated" date, the page has not been medically reviewed yet.

The same information is part of the page's structured data, so it is never shown to search engines without being shown to you.

What a medical review checks

The reviewer reads the medical content of the page — descriptions of procedures, risks and side effects, recovery times, who a treatment suits and what results can be expected — and checks it against current guidance and the sources the page cites. Anything the reviewer asks to change is corrected before the review is recorded on the page.

Which pages are reviewed first

Reviews start with the pages where an error could matter most to your health or your decision, then continue with the most-read pages:

  • Risks and complications of a hair transplant
  • PRP and mesotherapy
  • Stem-cell hair treatment
  • Female hair transplant and the hair loss guide
  • Treatments and long-term care after a transplant

What a review does not replace

A reviewed page is still general information. It is not a diagnosis or a treatment plan for you: whether a treatment suits you is decided at your own assessment.

How pages are written and sourced before any review — and how to report an error — is set out in our editorial policy.
